Dear Time Warner and any other retarded ISPs looking to grow a brain..

April 17, 2009

If you sell me an internet connection that does x megabits per second, then expect me to use x megabits per second 24/7.

Otherwise only sell me the connection speed where you do actually plan for me to do x megabits per second. If it's lower then it's lower.

You are selling me the connection, don't then expect me to not use it as much as I can after the sale.

It's like me buying a loaf of bread from the grocery only to be asked to not eat all of it in one sitting. It's likely I'm not going to anyway but that's not your concern.. you sold it, it's mine now. When and how I consume it is my business, not yours.

Yeah, their fine print is pretty lengthy :T

I think most of them also have in their fine print, no servers, no excessive usage, and other things to limit overall usage.
