Book Recommendation:
Practical Common Lisp is a modern Lisp book written with practical application development in mind. It shows many useful examples of real-world applications. Following along in the book, building the applications, teaches you Lisp. This is not a specifications manual. You will still need to reference online Lisp documentation for some things. This book teaches you more about the why? and what for? of Lisp than anything else I've found. |
